Collins Wins Number 200 Monday, May 14th, 2001 It was a special day at The Den for Jefferson City's Mike Collins. The Jackalopes ace logged his 200th career win against the Twisters. In the 5-4 decision Collins tossed 6 innings, surrendered 4 hits with no walks and 4 strikeouts. "I'm real fortunate that I had the opportunity to play with such good players during my career," said Collins. "I just couldn't have drawn it up any better. I'm glad I did it in this uniform, too. Jefferson City is a great organization to play for." Collins has a career won-loss record of 200 wins and 137 losses with 2769 strikeouts in 3143 innings and a 3.60 ERA. |
