Gonzáles Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Saturday, July 2nd, 1994 Chalk up another one for South Bend right fielder António Gonzáles. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Gonzáles went 1-for-4 today's game at The Hideout. However, his club was defeated 6-5 by Oshkosh. António Gonzáles flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Thus far this year Gonzáles has hit .437 with 10 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
