Oshkosh Right Fielder Out Friday, July 28th, 1995 Disappointing news today for Oshkosh Outlaws fans. Ed Chambers was hurt making a defensive play in their game against the South Bend Silver Sox and has shoulder soreness. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the right fielder out at least 3-4 weeks. Chambers has collected 145 hits for the Outlaws this year, 33 of them home runs. He has also netted 99 RBIs and scored 78 runs while batting .362. |
