HBL News: Playoffs begin Friday, September 13th, 1996 The regular season has closed and now the "real" season begins. The playoffs in Heartland Baseball League start today and all the clubs that made it into the League Championship Series are hungry to claim the ultimate prize: the champion's mantle -- the Heartland Series title. The playoffs begin today with these match-ups: Oshkosh Outlaws versus Cedar Rapids Rebels and Poplar Bluff Predators versus Canton Kernels. |
