Jefferson City Third Baseman Picked South Player of the Week Monday, September 1st, 2003 John Miller did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the South Player of the Week Award. The third baseman hit .440 for the Jackalopes, recording 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Miller has hit 18 home runs and posted a .253 batting average. |
