Oshkosh's Beane Out 6-7 Weeks Saturday, July 19th, 2003 The Outlaws will be minus Logan Beane for about 6-7 weeks after the shortstop suffered a hamstring strain while running the bases in a recent game against Kenosha. Beane and the Oshkosh skipper were hoping further examination might show there was less damage than originally thought and he would be absent a shorter duration. In 95 games this season Beane is batting .256 with 92 hits and 18 home runs. He has scored 55 runs and driven in 54. |
