Star SP Signs Pact with Rebels Wednesday, June 25th, 2003 Happy times in Cedar Rapids as the Rebels and star starting pitcher Rod Gibbs put the finishing touches on a $880,000 contract extension that will keep the 26-year-old in town 4 years longer. The signing is great news for Cedar Rapids because players of this caliber are hard to come by. This year Gibbs has compiled a 5-4 mark with a 3.68 ERA in 13 starts. |
