Another Setback For Canton's Brenton Phipps Tuesday, September 27th, 2005 The Canton Kernels announced today that Brenton Phipps will miss an additional 6 days after the left fielder suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from a hamstring strain. While the setback is believed to be minor, the Kernels want Phipps to take his time and fully recover before coming back. In 1141 career games, Phipps has put up a .255 average, collected 182 doubles, 5 triples, and 233 home runs, driven in 642 runs, and scored 540 times. |
