Joyce's Condition Worse, Gets Another Setback Monday, September 26th, 2005 Just when it looked like Britt Joyce would soon return to the Duluth Danger, the right fielder suffered yet another setback in his recovery from a sprained thumb. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Joyce experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be disabled for at least 5 days. Currently Joyce has 20 home runs and a .251 batting average. |
