Keating Raps Lafayette for 5 Hits Wednesday, September 14th, 2005 Next time the Stars might think twice about pitching to Craig Keating. Today at The Den the Jefferson City second baseman really burned Lafayette pitching, going 5-for-5 in the Jackalopes 5-3 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Craig Keating doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. Currently Keating has 7 home runs and a .312 batting average. |
