Peters Mows Down 16 Dawgs Thursday, September 8th, 2005 Randy Peters of the Poplar Bluff Predators was something to behold at Predators Park. He fanned 16 Dawgs en route to a 2-1 victory. Peters shackled Dayton on 4 hits and gave up 1 walk in an outstanding performance. "That's as good as I've ever seen him throw," his manager said. "I've never seen so many bad swings in my life. These guys didn't have a chance." As for Peters, he had very little to say to after the game. "We won and that's the bottom line. I had a good game. And we beat Dayton. In 36 starts this season Peters has chalked up a 17-12 record and a 3.29 ERA. |
