Springfield Loses Ron Wells Wednesday, September 7th, 2005 Springfield learned today that they will be without reliever Ron Wells for 4 months. Wells was injured throwing a pitch and sustained a torn back muscle. He was hurt in the game against the Canton Kernels. To this point in the season Wells has no saves in 34 relief appearances with a 3-6 record and 5.37 ERA. |
