No Late-Season Magic Coming: Poplar Bluff Out of Playoffs Tuesday, September 6th, 2005 The Poplar Bluff Predators will have to focus on playing for pride for the remainder of the season. That's because the team has today been officially eliminated from playoff contention. Poplar Bluff last appeared in the postseason in 1998. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 20 times in their 27-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Predators have missed the playoffs 7 times. Poplar Bluff last won the Heartland Series in 1995. |
