Ken Meyer Hurt, Out One Week
Friday, September 2nd, 2005
Ken Meyer of the Cedar Rapids Rebels was injured in today's game against Duluth and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a finger sprain and he is expected to be out for up to one week. It happened while Meyer was making a defensive play. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."

A look at his season totals shows Meyer with 25 home runs, .343 BA, .383 OBP, 109 RBIs and 89 runs scored.
