Jackfish Hurler Named North's #1 Starter Thursday, September 1st, 2005 Greg Smith's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 5-0 in August, the 25-year-old Kenosha hurler has been named North Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 17 in 49 innings, logged an ERA of 0.73 and allowed opponents to hit .209 against him. In pitching stats this season Smith has rung up 14 wins and 14 losses in 34 games. He has an ERA of 3.24 and has fanned 127 batters in 236.1 innings. |
