Title Captured - South Won By Lafayette Monday, August 29th, 2005 The Lafayette Stars have won the South. "We made it. Everything we talked about doing in spring training has come true so far," said starting pitcher John Hall. "We're not done though, there's still a larger goal in mind." Lafayette has a record of 85-48 record and will by vying for their 2nd Heartland Series. It was the club's 4th South title. "You never get sick of celebrating something like this," added Hall. |
