RP Lonnie Newcomb Hurt Saturday, August 27th, 2005 Dawgs reliever Lonnie Newcomb was hurt throwing a pitch during today's Twisters game and suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. He will be laid up about 8 months. This year his season stats show Newcomb has 2 saves in 53 relief appearances with a 5-9 record and 4.46 ERA. |
