More Injury Problems For Canton's Jim Howell Friday, August 26th, 2005 The Canton Kernels plan to take it slow with center fielder Jim Howell, knowing that his recovery from shoulder soreness would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Jim has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about 4 days before he can be activated." Currently Howell is batting .254 with 10 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
