Stell of Davenport Crowned Best Player Monday, August 15th, 2005 All week long Toby Stell made the highlight reels and made headlines -- his name and face were everywhere. So it was no surprise to anyone when he was chosen the North's Player of the Week for his standout performance. Stell put up a solid set of stats, compiling a .483 average (14-for-29) and contributing 1 home run and 4 RBIs to claim the honor. So far in 2005 Stell is batting .363 with 6 home runs, 52 RBIs and 101 runs scored. He has 177 hits in 487 at-bats and a .450 OBP. |
