Slammers Mike Everett Swings Hot Bat, Red Winner Monday, May 20th, 1996 South Bend HS fans had a lot to cheer about this week as right fielder Mike Everett brought home the Red Player of the Week trophy. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .692 batting average, 9 hits and 3 home runs. Everett also racked up 7 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Thus far this season Everett has hit .419 with 10 home runs, 35 RBIs and scored 40 times. |
