Red Announces #1 Player Monday, May 6th, 1996 Chris Wood went on a hitting rampage last week against Red pitchers and collected the Player of the Week Award. The Rochester HS second baseman connected for 5 hits in 11 at-bats and 3 home runs. For the week he hit .455 with 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. So far this year Wood is batting .417 with 12 home runs, 38 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
