Bechtel Tags Wolverines for 5 Hits Wednesday, May 29th, 1996 The Hoosiers tripped up the Wolverines 9-4 today, led by Rick Bechtel, their 21-year-old left fielder. He tagged Michigan pitching for 5 hits, making life miserable for them the entire game. Rick Bechtel hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
