Davis Pounds West Pitchers This Week Monday, April 20th, 1998 It was an exceptional week for Vic Davis of the Iowa Hawkeyes. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .529 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the West. Last week Davis went 9-for-17, notched 4 home runs and 11 RBIs and scored 6 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. Davis is currently batting .296 with 4 home runs and 16 RBIs. |
