East Names Top Player Monday, April 13th, 1998 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the East, but last week Jeremy Small of the Iowa State Cyclones reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Small rocked opposing pitching for a .485 average (16-for-33), 4 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. |
